Bodrum Hotels & Villas

Su Otel, Bodrum, Turkey

Bodrum has dozens of hotels of all shapes, sizes, and prices. I like the ones within walking distance of the castle, restaurants, shops and public transport because driving in Bodrum is simply terrible: narrow, labyrinthine alleys clogged with cars.

Su Otel

This 25-room boutique hotel is a bit difficult to find (), but when you do you enter a peaceful refuge far from the madness of Bodrum in summer. Beautiful, atmospheric, flower-filled and restful, with accommodating staff. If you're looking for serenity, here it is. More...

Marina Vista

I prefer hotels near the marina on the west side of the west bay because they tend to be quieter than the ones on the eastern bay. The 87-room Marina Vista has just that: views of the Bodrum Marina right across the street. More...

El Vino Hotel & Suites

With a view over the Castle of St Peter, the 19-room El Vino has, as you might imagine, an elaborate wine bar, besides a lovely swimming pool, hot tub, and even a small cinema. Tea/coffee time each evening is complimentary, with fresh-baked pastries. More...

Hotel Karia Princess

One of the early upscale boutique hotels in Bodrum, the 4-star, 104-room Karia Princess, claimed a good location, quiet, but within walking distance of the marina. A class act, but not overdone. More...

Seçkin Konaklar

The name translates as "Preferred Mansions." They must be doing something right, as they have been hosting guests here for decades. Though on the main street just across from the marina, most traffic turns off before coming this far, keeping the 36 guest rooms fairly quiet. More...

Antique Theatre Hotel

On the hill above the town, just across the busy boulevard from Bodrum's ancient theater, this aptly-named 18-room hotel has the most spectacular views over the bay to the castle. You've got to see it! It's an 800-meter walk downhill to the marina (about 10 minutes), but a little longer walk back up the hill. More...

Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum

If your preference is for a grand resort hotel complex set apart from everything on its own pretty cove, this luxurious resort is for you: two swimming pools, East Asian spa, and treatments, sauna, Turkish hamam, fitness center, fishing tours, water sports—it has it all. All 173 rooms have balconies and panoramic views of the Aegean.

Hotel Güleç

Right in the action and throngs of Bodrum on a summer night, this modest, family-run, 18-room budget-priced lodging just inland from the eastern bay is convenient to everything—if you like bustle and activity. More...

Holiday Villas, Cottages, Apartment/Flats to Rent

Bodrum has lots of them, for all sorts of groups. More...

You can also ask one of my recommended travel agencies for help in finding a good Bodrum hotel.

Also have a look at these hotels in Yalıkavak on the north shore, and other towns on the Bodrum peninsula.
