Milas-Bodrum Airport, Turkey

Last Updated on April 26, 2019

Officially named the Milas-Bodrum Airport (airport code: BJV), everybody calls it simply Bodrum Airport.

The modern airport is 33 km (21 miles, 30 minutes) northeast of Bodrum, 16 km (10 miles) south of Milas, just north of the Güllük intersection (map)

The International Terminal (Dış Hatlar) and Domestic Terminal (İç Hatlar) are about 1 km apart, separated by grassy fields. It’s about a 15-minute walk across the fields between the terminals, longer if you walk on the roads.

Turkish Airlines has a small CİP airline lounge for its premium customers in the secure gate area of the Domestic Terminal.

Havaş airport buses will take you from the airport to the Bodrum Otogar (bus terminal) in the center of Bodrum. Atlasjet has its own free bus service betweenMilas-Bodrum Airport and Bodrum’s Otogar.

Otherwise, unless you are part of an organized tour being met by a bus or minibus, you’ll probably have to take an expensive airport taxi. Find other travelers with whom to split the cost. More…

Buses and minibuses run frequently along the highway 2 km (1.25 miles) east of the International terminal, but you’ll have to walk to get to the highway.
