The beautiful hill town of Şirince, near Selçuk and Ephesus, has several fine places to stay.

Now that minibusses shuttle between Selçuk and Şirinceevery 20 to 30 minutes during the day and trains connect Selçuk with Adnan Menderes Airportİzmir and Denizli (for Pamukkale), it's no longer necessary to have your own car in order to make Şirince your base for visits to Ephesus, KuşadasıPrieneMiletusDidymaİzmir, and Pamukkale.
