(Note: professional guides provide their services for a fee. Although they welcome inquiries about scheduling and availability of their services, they expect to be paid when they provide tourism information. You may be asked to arrange payment before questions are answered. Also, if you reserve a guide’s time in advance, you may be asked to arrange credit card payment at the time of reservation, just as for a hotel room, rental car, or flight. I was born in Istanbul in 1974, for which I consider myself to be very lucky. I love this city and this country! One of my favorite things about being a tour guide is showing my guests around my city and offering a unique perspective as a lifelong citizen. I graduated from Beyoğlu English High School for girls and got my undergraduate degree from the Spanish Language and Literature faculty.
I love my job serving as a tour guide! If I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely choose the same profession. While I do specialize in Istanbul, I am very knowledgeable in other cities as well. Often my guests request tours in Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus temple, Troya, and more. I love connecting with people from all around the world, sharing cultures, and building a custom itinerary to make sure my guests see their main points of interest throughout the city. The historical parts of the city, such as mosques, churches, synagogues, palaces, museums, and squares are some of the most popular places my guests like to see. Additionally, I help guests find the best restaurants for their taste – traditional or international, nightlife, and the most reliable places for a shopping spree.
Finally, I am a mother of two boys, 16 and 11 – guests traveling with children will absolutely benefit from my parental experience!
