Hi,

My name is Yeşim Çetin Sözüdoğru but you can call me Jade.

I am a native of Istanbul and a professional state-licensed guide since 1990. I am passionate about my work and I enjoy representing my beautiful country in the best way I can.

As I am also fluent in German, and I guide many German-speaking guests.

Mostly my guests stay in the 5-star hotels such as the Çırağan Palace Kempinski, Four Seasons Hotels, Swissotel, Hilton etc.

My American guests usually come from the state of California.

In my tours, I like to give details of the rich history of Türkiye and try to help facilitate connections and conclusions of historical facts. With true stories of the people that lived here in the past, I try to make my tours as enjoyable as possible. I specialize in Byzantine and Ottoman history.  The works of chief architect "Sinan" are one of my special interests.

Besides this, I am an expert in local shopping, especially in the bazaars of Istanbul. I enjoy trying to find the best and most authentic items.  Not getting lost in the maze of the Grand Bazaar is guaranteed.

Kind regards,

Yeşim
