Are you a nature lover who enjoys everything from mountains and beaches to rivers? Then look no further, this underrated destination has it all. Adrasan is a village located 93km (58 miles) from Antalya and 125km (78 miles) from Kaş. It’s small yet charming for those wanting a quiet holiday to go for a swim, relax in the sun, and have a drink while enjoying the lush scenery. 

Suluada Island, Turkey

Attractions

The biggest attractions here are Adrasan Beach, Suluada boat tours, and camping. Adrasan Sahili (Beach) is a sparkling blue pebbled beach with hundreds of lounge chairs and straw umbrellas spread throughout. Additionally, if you’re keen on visiting Suluada, boat tours depart from the seaside daily at 10:00am and return in the evening at 5:00pm. Lastly, for those of you who like to go camping, there are numerous campgrounds in different parts of the village where you can actively engage in outdoor activities. While in Adrasan, consider visiting Çıralı, around 30 minutes away by car. 

Transportation

There are a few ways to reach Adrasan from the main coastal city of Antalya

Going by public transportation from Antalya to Adrasan directly is the cheapest and longest route available, with the total travel time ranging from 2-2.5 hours. Bus times can vary depending on season & availability. The Kumluca Çiçek Tur bus company has departs from Antalya’s bus station (otogar) at 8:00 am and arrives in Adrasan around 10:30am. Once you enter the bus station, go straight into the back where all of the buses are parked and there will be one leaving for Adrasan that will have a sign on the front. 

The quickest route to Adrasan is by renting a car or hiring a private transfer. You can save a good amount of travel time with this option and enjoy all of the perks of private transportation. This is a great alternative for families and groups who have lots of luggage and want the ease of moving around at your own pace! 

Cuisine

Le Jardin Cafe, Saide Cafe & Restaurant, and Sebo Cafe Restaurant are among the many great places to eat along Adrasan Sahili beach. The atmosphere of Le Jardin Cafe is very coastal where the interiors are white-washed with bright hues of colors. The service here is great and the menu offers a variety of different options from salads to sandwiches and fish. Saide Cafe and Restaurant is another superb spot for a nice dinner during sunset. Their menu includes pasta dishes, seafood, and a few Turkish cuisine classics.

 

Experience

Check Out Adrasan’s River Garden Dining

For a unique dining experience, there are several river-garden restaurants in Adrasan. These are located only a few minutes away on foot from Adrasan Beach. The restaurants are built along a river with a wooden path and bridge to access them. You can see ducks swimming around you and even take pictures on a swing! At night, each river garden restaurant lights up and becomes lively. Arikanda is the nicest establishment and you don’t need reservations to visit.
