Torba, the easternmost town on the north shore of Turkey’s Bodrum Peninsula (), is small and quiet, with a narrow gravel beach, a few beachside restaurants, cafés and bars, and a little harbor serving rowboats, yachts, and even a few fishing boats.
A few three-star hotels are located inland, up the hill from the beach. Here’s where to check rates and availability:
Torba has yet to be fully discovered by foreign sun-worshippers or Istanbul glitterati, so if you’re looking for a quiet place to get away to on the Bodrum peninsula, this is probably the closest thing you’ll find—but have a look at Kadıkalesi as well.
